High Blood Pressure: Silent Enemy

Today I wanted to devote a bit to cover the case of high blood pressure or is medically defined as: Hypertension.
Just to give you an idea there are more than 72 million people suffering from high blood pressure in North America due to their lifestyles filled with fatty meal, scrap, excess refined sugar, now more worrying is that more than 20 million of these people known to suffer from high blood pressure, without proper care this can end in a heart attack or stroke.

The only way to know if you have high blood pressure is taking it very often. One in four people have hypertension and more than 30% do not know who is hypertensive. Hypertension increases with age above 50, more than half of people may suffer from hypertension.

For anyone interested in an alternative to directly control and later to eliminate the symptoms and risks generated we will review some steps to improve the condition.
Now I want to be sensitive to the commitment to a new lifestyle as it is vital that at least take the following steps:

• Keep your diet low in fat and salt.

• Reduce excess weight.

• Start a regular exercise program.

• Learn to manage stress.

• Stop smoking.

• Moderate or eliminate alcohol consumption. Remember that moderate consumption is an average of one to two drinks per day for men and one drink per day for women.
